Acrisure Re, the re/insurance arm of global fintech company Acrisure, has announced the promotion of Daniel Bruno to global head of actuarial management.
In this new role, Bruno will unify Acrisure Re’s actuarial resources in New York, London, Toronto and Bermuda, further strengthening the company’s global platform and commitment to technology excellence and client partnerships.
An Acrisure Re spokesperson commented: “Daniel has played a key role in advancing our global actuarial capabilities through his technical expertise, commercial acumen and collaborative leadership.”
Adding: “His promotion reflects both his outstanding contributions and the increasingly important strategic role actuaries play in supporting customers and partners while driving our global growth.”
Bruno joined Acrisure Re in 2020 as Senior Vice President of Analytics. He subsequently served as Senior Vice President – Head of Analytics, North America, before being named Partner – Head of Analytics, North America, his most recent role prior to promotion.
He joins Acrisure Re from The Hartford, where he served for four years, first as director and assistant actuary and later as director and actuary.
Prior to that, the executive spent several years at Deloitte Consulting. During this time, he served as an actuarial analyst, actuarial consultant and actuarial senior consultant.
