Marsh Risk names James Crask as Global Supply Chain Practice Leader

Marsh Risk, the insurance brokerage arm of Marsh, has appointed James Crsk to the newly created position of head of its global supply chain practice, based in London.

In this role, Crask will combine Marsh Risk’s existing supply chain insurance and risk consulting expertise and leverage advanced analytics and cutting-edge technology, including Marsh’s AI-driven supply chain mapping platform Sentrisk, to provide insights, advice and solutions to clients.

Crsk has more than two decades of experience providing risk management, resilience and strategic advisory services to the public and private sectors.

He joined Marsh Risk in 2018 and held various business resilience leadership roles before being named global head of risk advisory multinational clients in 2024.

Martin South, CEO of Marsh Risk, commented on the appointment: “James’ appointment comes at a critical time, with organizations facing increasingly complex and evolving risks in their supply chains.

“He is a proven strategic leader with a keen ability to help organizations anticipate, withstand and recover from disruption, making him the ideal person to lead this important role and help our clients build the resiliency they need to thrive in an ever-changing, connected world.”

Kraske added: “Today’s organizations face an unprecedented supply chain environment. Geoeconomic confrontations, evolving tariff policies and regulatory changes make it more difficult than ever to effectively manage and mitigate risk.

“The Marsh team is well-positioned to provide clients with the insights and solutions they need to thrive in these challenging times.”
