Global insurance brokerage Lockton has appointed Subhash Chandra as head of Asia life and health reinsurance and Julian Park as head of South Korea workforce solutions.
The two appointments, effective February 9, 2026, are in line with the broker’s commitment to expand and enhance its HR solutions capabilities in the Asia region.
Chandra will be based in Singapore and report to Cedric Luah, Head of Asia People Solutions. He will lead the unit’s product development in Asia, working with regional insurers to provide strategic advisory, interim solutions and tailored reinsurance structures.
Chandra has over 18 years of life and health reinsurance experience in Asia, having held senior roles at Munich Re, Aon Reinsurance Solutions and Pacific Life Re, advising insurers and reinsurers on product, risk and portfolio strategy.
Park, meanwhile, will be based in Seoul and join the Korean management team and Asia Talent Solutions leadership team. He reports dually to Ben Son, CEO of Korea, and Luah.
Park will play a key role in building and leading Lockton’s workforce solutions capabilities in Korea, working with regional experts to deliver solutions to clients. He will also leverage his extensive expertise in the Korean market to advise local leadership on a wide range of human resources and talent matters.
In the past, he served as head of health solutions at Aon Korea, head of HR at Marsh and Aon, and in senior HR positions at Oracle.
Park’s experience spans M&A, change management, organizational development, HR transformation, rewards strategies, and health and risk solutions for clients navigating South Korea’s complex workforce environment.
