Global specialty insurer Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has appointed Sarah Tidbury as portfolio solutions underwriter, effective immediately. She reports to Rob Jarvis, head of innovative underwriting.
The appointment reflects TMK’s continued investment in innovative portfolio-based insurance solutions across categories, particularly those distributed through various channels including algorithmic platforms, broker facilities, syndicates and policyholders.
In her new role, Tidbury will focus on evaluating and structuring portfolio transactions across multiple business lines and geographies. She will also work closely with brokers and clients to tailor solutions to their needs as the insurance company continues to expand its technical expertise and market coverage.
Tidbury has more than two decades of underwriting and portfolio management experience across multiple commercial sectors. Most recently, she served as an authorized underwriter at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
In this role, she managed a broad portfolio spanning financial lines, credit, reputational damage and innovation. Prior to this, she held senior underwriting positions at RSA London and AIG London.
