Hannover Re, a global reinsurer operating across property, life and health insurance businesses, announced the appointment of Prateek Maheshwari as Chief Financial Officer of its India unit.
Maheshwari has been with Hannover Re since 2017, when he joined the India branch as Finance Manager.
Prior to his current role, he worked as a financial accountant for Hannover Life Re in Australia.
He has over 20 years of professional experience in the accounting, tax and regulatory compliance fields.
Maheshwari is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. As CFO, he will be responsible for leading the financial operations and governance of the India unit.
