Global specialty insurance and reinsurance group Ascot has announced the appointment of Shanelle Burke as US Chief Financial Officer.
In her new role, Burke will join Ascot’s U.S. leadership team and oversee financial operations, strategy, capital management, regulatory engagement and corporate decision support.
She has more than twenty years of experience in the insurance industry and joined Ascot in June 2020 as US Financial Director.
Prior to that, Burke served as director of Markel’s global insurance division and held financial leadership roles at Alterra USA and KPMG.
