Xceedance, a global provider of technology-driven business solutions to the insurance industry, has acquired Marble Box, a provider of professional back-office support and virtual assistant services to independent insurance brokers.
The acquisition brings Xceedance into the agency and brokerage industry, underscoring its dedication to modernizing distribution operations, the company noted.
Although agents and brokers are at the heart of distribution, their day-to-day services are often hampered by outdated processes, fragmented tools, manual data transfers and inconsistent carrier data standards.
Xceedance explains that this often results in unnecessary rework, poor visibility and difficulty scaling operations during busy periods.
The company is solving these problems by combining deep insurance domain expertise with technology-led modernization to deliver clearer workflows, greater control and scalable execution.
Marble Box brings an important starting point for transformation: a team of experts with a clear understanding of institutional workflows and tasks at every level.
Headquartered in Kolkata, India, the delivery team supports more than 140 agents and brokers, handles more than 30 agent processes and executes millions of transactions annually.
This execution at scale, combined with valuable process insights, enables agents to achieve growth and more predictable operations.
Xceedance will be built on a process-first foundation, combined with its strong technology and data engineering teams, to deliver increasingly complex solutions over time.
It will introduce workflow standardization, cross-system data integration, and automation and artificial intelligence to reduce manual work, enhance auditability, and enable real-time operational visibility.
“We are excited to welcome the Marble Box team to Xceedance,” said Peter Flynn, senior vice president of the Americas at Xceedance. “Together, we will reimagine distribution from the ground up to deliver a new standard for speed, control and customer experience. This is a critical step in building a modern, technology-driven operating model for agents and brokers, and we intend to lead the market.”
“Agency operations have evolved in a fragmented ecosystem that relies heavily on manual efforts and disconnected systems,” said Prashant Tekchandani, executive vice president of insurance lifecycle and operations at Xceedance. “We started with an expert operations team that deeply understands the work, and we will support this investment with technology, data integration and practical automation to increase control, visibility and reliability.”
