South Korean insurance and reinsurance consulting and brokerage firm WISE Insurance Services Co., Ltd. has reorganized its reinsurance team, effective January 1, 2026.
As part of this reorganization, the Reinsurance team has been renamed the R&S (Reinsurance & Specialty) team. This move is intended to support WISE’s next phase of sustainable growth.
The team now consists of two dedicated divisions: Reinsurance and Specialty. Won Lee will lead the team as Head of Reinsurance and Specialty Business.
Yubeom (YB) Kim will lead the reinsurance team and continue to focus on the broker’s core reinsurance businesses, including Treaty and Cedant Facultative.
Meanwhile, JB Cheong will lead the Specialty Business Unit, initially focusing on Celltrion Inc-related specialty business, including Group PA and TPA services, with a clear roadmap for future expansion into other potential customers.
WISE has strengthened its capabilities with the hiring of a freight and logistics specialist, while an experienced Group PA specialist has also joined the team internally to support this structure.
