Specialty insurance provider Westfield Specialty International has announced the promotion of Katie MacGregor to Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In her role, McGregor will lead the operational function for the international business – covering the UK, Middle East and Europe – working closely with senior leadership to support growth in these markets. She will report to Anthony Baldwin, president of Westfield Specialty International.
She joined Westfield Specialty in 2016 and has played a key role in the organization’s success as claims executive for the past ten years.
Prior to that, she spent 12 years at Liberty Specialty in senior claims leadership roles, most recently as deputy director of claims/director of commercial claims.
Baldwin commented: “Katie’s deep operational expertise, attention to detail and ability to deliver best-in-class service make her a perfect fit for the COO role as we expand into new markets, build our product portfolio and expand our distribution network.
“Her leadership will be critical as we continue to expand our international platform and deliver the responsiveness and service excellence that brokers and clients have come to expect.”
