Verisk appoints Steven Kauderer as President of Claims Solutions business

Verisk, a global provider of data analytics and technology to the insurance industry, has appointed Steven Kauderer as president of its claims solutions business, effective immediately.

In his new role, Kauderer will lead a team that delivers solutions that help insurers and claims ecosystem players streamline the claims process for policyholders with greater accuracy, efficiency and speed.

He reports to Verisk President and CEO Lee Shavel.

Since July 2025, Verisk’s current Chief Financial Officer, Elizabeth Mann, has served in the dual role of Interim President of Claims Solutions and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With this new appointment, she will continue to serve as chief financial officer.

Most recently, Kauderer served as a senior partner at EY-Parthenon, where he built and led Enterprise Reimagined, the firm’s transformation practice designed to help financial services organizations, including insurance companies, add value and drive profitable growth.

Prior to that, he was a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, a leader in the global insurance practice focusing on property, casualty and life insurance.

Cowdler’s insurance experience also includes leadership skills. He also held leadership positions at Bain & Company and Oliver Wyman.
