Twitter expands India’s engineering team and recruits multiple positions

Weibo and social networking service Twitter announced plans on Tuesday to expand the Indian engineering team, which is known as the priority market and one of the fastest growing markets in the world.

As part of these plans, the company announced the appointment of Apurva Dalal as the director of engineering. He has more than two decades of engineering experience in global organizations such as Uber, Google, and eBay.

He finally served as the head of the engineering site for Uber Bengaluru. Apurva is now the most senior member of the country’s Twitter engineering team.

He will be based in Bangalore and will be responsible for enhancing the company’s engineering capabilities and products for local and global audiences.
