HDFC Bank closed down, online banking, debit card payment, UPI, IMPS and NEFT all caused trouble to many customers in India. The customer has gone to social media to complain about this issue. Many people say they can’t make payments, and in our own tests, we can’t even add new payees to online banking. Some users also said that the ATM does not work. A tweet in response to a customer said that the problem was caused by a data center outage, but six hours after the report began on Saturday, the payment still could not be made here.

Data from the online downtime tracker DownDetector shows that HDFC Bank’s failure report started around 6pm on Saturday, November 22 and has been declining since then. However, we conducted the HDFC test at 1130pm, and the bank was still unable to work for two different accounts.

Respond to customers tweet, HDFC customer service department said: “One of our data centers was unexpectedly interrupted and affected some of our services.” It also said: “We are working hard to restore services. This will not take long.” However, this is writing More than an hour before this article, which is almost six hours after the beginning of the early report. At the time of writing, banking services are still not working.

Some users reported seeing a message stating that HDFC has encountered a problem and ask them to come back for a while and try again. However, when we checked using the HDFC Android app at 11:30 on Saturday night, the banner was not displayed, but just frozen.

Affected customers have tweeted about issues with the bank’s website and HDFC application. People cannot receive OTP, and some even say that ATM does not work properly. This is very similar to the collapse of ICICI Bank in mid-October, just when the holiday promotions of Amazon and Flipkart began.

The HDFC website and application are loading at the time of writing, but after logging in, functions such as transferring money and adding payees do not work, and Advertisement Shout can verify it. We also cannot use HDFC debit cards on Swiggy and Zomato.
