The Baldwin Group acquires Philadelphia-based Capstone

Baldwin Group, an independent insurance brokerage and advisory firm, announced the completion of its acquisition of Capstone Group, a full-service, multi-line independent insurance brokerage firm headquartered in the Philadelphia area.

Founded in 2013, Capstone Group provides independent risk management, insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting services. It specializes in risk management, group health and ancillary benefits, and property and casualty insurance solutions.

Baldwin said Capstone’s hands-on service model and team-first culture are a natural fit with its customer-centric entrepreneurial approach, allowing Capstone to maintain its personalized, high-touch service while leveraging Baldwin’s broader resources and scalable infrastructure.

The collaboration expands Baldwin’s regional reach and enhances its ability to deliver comprehensive risk management solutions to a broader client base.
