Global reinsurer Swiss Re has appointed Teodora Aldenhoff as chief pricing actuary for Life & Health (L&H) Continental Europe.
In her new role, Oldenhoff will join Swiss Re’s leadership team and report directly to Augusto Diaz-Leante, Head of Life & Health Continental and Managing Director of Swiss Re.
She has worked for Swiss Re for the past 15 years in positions including L&H Valuation Actuary and Structural Reinsurance – Global Portfolio Management.
Most recently, Aldenhoff served as Senior Structural Engineer and Transaction Manager for L&H Structured Solutions EMEA.
Diaz-Leante said in a recent LinkedIn post: “Teodora brings a rare combination of technical depth and strategic perspective. At Swiss Re, she most recently led complex L&H Structured Solutions transactions across EMEA, always operating at the intersection of innovation and execution. She is a UK-qualified actuary with a Masters in Financial Mathematics and embodies rigor and forward-thinking.
