Insurance and investment institution Starr has announced the appointment of Danielle An as head of financial operations in Singapore and wholesale operations in Asia.
In her new role, An will play a key role in driving growth for Starr’s financial business in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, as well as wholesale markets across the region.
She has over 15 years of regional underwriting experience and has deep expertise in financial product lines and network products.
Prior to joining Starr, An held a number of senior leadership roles at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), most recently as Head of Financial Services for Singapore and Southeast Asia and Head of MLC’s Asia Pacific Regional Business Group.
Prior to this, she was AGCS’ MLC Asia Senior Manager and held underwriting roles at Financial Lines.
