Spotify is launching a new design for its desktop and web players. The search bar on the left side of the navigation page now has a new look and feel. It also introduces a simpler playlist creation tool and the ability to drag and drop tracks into the playlist. Web player users in India can also access synchronized lyrics. It is said that the new design is the result of several months of testing and research after receiving user feedback.

The company announced that new designs and features for users of desktop applications and web players began rolling out today and will be available to all free and premium users worldwide in the coming weeks. As mentioned above, Spotify web player users in India can now access the popular sync lyrics feature in mobile apps. The company said that the feature will also appear on the desktop application in a new style consistent with the updated design and desktop experience.

The new design provides a new look with more controls. The “Search” function can now be found on the left side of the navigation page. The listener profile page now includes top artists and tracks, and an easier playlist can be created through integrated search. Users can also write descriptions, upload images, and drag and drop tracks into existing playlists. The new embedded search bar can be used to find new songs and podcast episodes and add them to new and existing playlists.

Spotify Premium users can download their favorite music and podcasts, and even play them when offline. The desktop app now has a “download” button next to the track to make it easier for paying users. Spotify has many premium plans starting from Rs. 7 days and rupees. 25 weeks. There are individual plans, starting at Rs. 119 family plans per month with access to more than 6 accounts-the minimum fee is Rs. 179 per month.
