The Board of Directors of the International Underwriting Association (IUA) has announced that Chris Beazley, Chief Commercial Officer of SCOR Business Solutions and CEO of SCOR UK and SCOR Syndicate, has joined its Board of Directors.
The IUA Board of Directors governs and oversees the work of the Association to ensure the best trading environment for London insurance companies. It is composed of up to 20 member representatives, all of whom hold senior management positions.
Beazley was appointed to the IUA Board of Directors at the IUA’s February meeting. He has 25 years of industry experience and has held various senior leadership roles with underwriting and brokerage firms in the UK, Switzerland, Singapore and the US.
Prior to joining SCOR, Beazley was CEO of MS Amlin AG and was seconded as CEO of London Market Group for a two-year period.

Previously, IUA announced in November 2025 that Convex Insurance UK CEO Theo Butt was elected as the new chairman of the board of directors, effective January 1, 2026.
