The Board of Directors of Resolution Life, a global life insurance group focused on reinsurance and the acquisition and management of life insurance portfolios, has appointed Moses Ojeisekhoba as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 1, 2026.

In his new role, Ojeisekhoba succeeds founder, chairman and chief executive Sir Clive Cowdery, who will continue to serve as executive chairman and assist Nippon Life in further expanding its international business.

Ojeisekhoba joined Resolution Life as President in October 2024 from Swiss Re, where he held various senior management positions for more than 12 years.

He has since led the team to achieve record capital deployment, led the reinsurer’s market-facing division and worked to integrate Resolution Life into Nippon Life by 2025.

Cowdery established the first business under the Resolution Life brand in 2003 and has been at the forefront of the life insurance consolidation industry for more than two decades.

The completion of Nippon Life’s acquisition of Resolution Life marks Cowdery’s fourth move to create, build and sell mergers and reinsurance companies, raising and deploying more than $20 billion in equity to support the global life insurance industry.
