Life insurance broker Reassured has announced a partnership with data and artificial intelligence consultancy FOIL AI to enhance its data infrastructure, expand in-house expertise and improve customer experience across the insurance lifecycle.
The agreement supports Reassured’s goal of taking a more robust data-led approach to operations. By applying advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, the company intends to improve the way it identifies and engages individuals who may lack adequate life insurance, while providing more effective, ongoing support to customers over time.
During the initial nine-month phase, FOIL AI worked with Reassured to review and consolidate previously fragmented customer data sources. This process creates a more unified view of end-to-end customer interactions.
By combining structured application data with insights gained from client call transcripts, the initiative is building a stronger evidence base to guide decision-making and identify appropriate “next best actions” for advisors and clients.
The application of AI-powered analytics and customer segmentation is expected to enable Reassured to more effectively adapt to changes in customer circumstances, enhance journeys to make them feel more relevant and seamless, and enhance post-sales engagement through more precisely targeted communications.
The partnership also addresses industry-wide customer confidentiality issues. By examining medical information and call data, Reassured attempts to uncover potential omissions or misunderstandings in the details provided. This approach aims to improve consistency, manage risk more effectively and deliver fairer outcomes for clients.
Another component of collaboration is long-term capability development. Professional data and artificial intelligence expertise are being embedded into the Reassured team through FOIL AI’s two-year talent program. The program not only aims to improve analytical capabilities but also facilitates the transfer of internal knowledge and skills to support continued growth.
