Insurance holding company WR Berkley Corporation has appointed R. Christopher DeLauder as president of Berkley Environmental, effective immediately.
In his new role, DeLauder succeeds Kenneth J. Berger, who was named chairman of the company.
Additionally, Berger will support the Berkley Environmental team through the transition and continue to be a key member of WR Berkley Corporation’s management in other initiatives and activities.
DeLoude has nearly four decades of industry experience, almost exclusively in the environmental sector.
He joined Berkeley Environmental in 2010 as vice president and most recently served as executive vice president.
