As the so-called “memetic coin” is actively making headlines in the crypto space, a publicly listed company is joining the Dogecoin frenzy. Kronos Advanced Technology announced that they will start accepting Dogecoin as one of their payment methods.
Kronos also accepts other cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
According to the announcement, the Los Angeles-based company is adding Dogecoin (DOGE) to its accepted payment form. In fact, customers will be able to purchase air purifiers and personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies through meme coins.
Adopting Dogecoin as a payment method is not just part of the action driven by encryption adoption. The company praised the popularity of tokens and their uniqueness in the industry.
In addition, Kronos pointed out that the speed of Dogecoin transactions is a positive note for Shiba Inu’s Meme coin. So far, the company accepts several cryptocurrencies as payment methods, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), etc.
Expand the N95 mask market to the Dogecoin community
Michael Rubinov, president of Kronos Advanced Technologies, commented on the company’s position on cryptocurrencies:
In the past decade, there have been many talks about how cryptocurrency will revolutionize payments, services, businesses, and change the world in ways we know it. Cryptocurrency has changed e-commerce: as more and more people now shop online. Cryptocurrency provides customers with more reasons to take advantage of the convenience of online shopping because it can reduce the risk of fraud for suppliers and shoppers.
By adopting Dogecoin as a payment method, Kronos also hopes to promote the N95 mask to the entire meme coin community on Reddit, which has 670,000 members. The company also praised the fact that Tesla CEO Elon Musk recognized Dogecoin as one of his favorite cryptocurrencies.
Despite the recent frenzy of Mimu, the latest market.Bitcoin.com data shows that Dogecoin is trading at $0.0317, down -20.43% on Tuesday. The market value is still US$4.08 billion.
