Battlegrounds Mobile India is pre-registering through the Google Play Store. The game is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile and will follow the same free battle royale formula. Battlegrounds Mobile India is developed by South Korean video game developer Krafton, and will come with India-specific rewards, which will be awarded when the game is officially launched for pre-registrants. As of now, the developers have not shared the release date of the game.

Android users in India can go to the Google Play store to pre-register for “Battlegrounds Mobile India”, which is India’s long-awaited PUBG Mobile avatar. Since PUBG Mobile and 117 other apps were banned in the country last September, Krafton has been working hard to bring the game back to India in some form. Now, finally, it proposed Battlegrounds Mobile India, which is essentially PUBG Mobile, but with some specific changes for India.

Pre-registering for Battlegrounds Mobile India will allow users to be notified when the game is officially launched. You can also select the automatic installation option to install it on your Android device when you start the game. As shown in the video posted on the game’s official YouTube channel, it will also bring some special rewards, including scouting equipment, scouting masks, in-game currency, etc. As of now, there is no information about iOS pre-registration, but the game will be launched on both platforms at the same time.

When the game was officially released earlier this month, Crafton stated that Battlegrounds Mobile India will have an e-sports ecosystem that will include competitions and leagues, as well as exclusive in-game events such as clothing and features. As mentioned earlier, there is no release date yet, but the developer did get the popular 4×4 map from PUBG Mobile – Sanhok last week. Although, it may not be called Sanhok.

The image shared on the Google Play Store shows in-game locations that PUBG Mobile players will be familiar with. They suggested that the Erangel and Miramar maps and the Sanhok map that was teased before appear in the game together.

The game also comes with an updated privacy policy, which requires players under the age of 18 to obtain the consent of their parents or guardians to play the game. The policy also stipulates that parents or guardians can contact developers and request data to be deleted from the system, just in case they feel that their children have provided personal information without their consent.
