Specialist insurance and reinsurance broker Price Forbes has announced the appointment of Malcolm Payton to its senior leadership team, effective December 9, 2026.
Payton will be based in London and will report to Specialty Broking CEO John Thompson. In his new role, he will work closely with the Price Forbes and Price Forbes Re leadership teams to help develop commercial strategy and drive market engagement.
He has over 40 years of industry experience with expertise in leadership, production and team development.
Payton joins Price Forbes from Gallagher Specialty, where he served as CEO of Property, Casualty and Insurance Solutions and global head of concurrent operations.
Prior to this, he served as global managing director of Capsicum Re and managing director and head of London and Europe at Guy Carpenter. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at JLT Re and Aon.
