Game maker Niantic announced a new event in the popular Pokemon Go mobile game Holi on its official blog. This may be the company’s first large-scale gaming event centered in India. The company was recently discovered to be hiring in India, which suggests that it may increase its business in India. During the event, Pokémon representing different festival colors, such as Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Alolan Grimer, Seel, Marill, Sunkern, Murkrow, Slugma, Aron, Trapinch and Drifloon, will be attracted to the incense more frequently.

In addition, completing the task of “Pokemon Go Color Festival Timed Research” will give players rewards such as Pokémon Ball, Big Ball and Hyperball, Razz Berry, Pinap Berry, Nanab Berry, Golden Razz Berry, Silver Pinap Berry, Dragon Scale, Sun Stone and Sinnoh Stone. These missions will also provide huge energy for Pokémon such as Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Beedrill, Pidgeot, Gengar and Ampharos. It also includes other rewards, such as super potions, super incubators and advanced battle passes. During the event, players can also encounter colorful Alolan Muk Sludge Pokémon.

These rewards include the experience value of catching Pokémon up to three times XP, and the appearance of rare Pokémon (such as Smeargle and Murkrow).
