Plague Inc. (Plague Inc.) is a strategic mobile game dedicated to infecting the world. It has a new mode called “cure” that can be played for free until COVID-19 is brought under control. This game mode is the exact opposite of what the basic game offers, because it involves saving the world from a global pandemic, not a contagious pandemic. The developers have worked with global experts on this expansion, which is the team’s largest expansion to date. Plague Inc. is available for free on the Google Play Store and App Store.

The Cure is an extended version of Plague Inc., released in 2012 and developed by Ndemic Creations. The game was originally based on the concept of ending human life by spreading pathogens around the world. It uses realistic simulation to make the experience more interesting and challenging. On the other hand, “cure” is completely contrary to the original idea, because it involves saving the world by stopping a deadly global epidemic. You will have to allocate resources, enforce the use of masks, implement lock-in measures and try to develop vaccines.

Players will have to send research teams around the world to find patient zero, monitor the speed of the virus’s spread, and manage testing accordingly. They will have to use different methods such as contact tracking, locking and border closure to limit spread. Players must also enable people to comply with isolation and lock-in rules, and implement policies to promote community support.

The treatment was developed with the help of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Alliance for Epidemic Prevention Innovation (CEPI) and the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN).

CEPI CEO Richard Hatchett said: “From contact tracing to vaccine development and manufacturing, Plague Inc.: The Cure encapsulates the complexity of the global pandemic response and emphasizes the need for critical international cooperation to address this threat. “

The developer stated that the game will be free to all players before the COVID-19 pandemic is controlled by Android and iOS users.

Hatchett added: “Games like Plague Inc: The Cure are an incredibly important medium for education and public awareness, and can be used to show the world the steps needed to address similar global health threats and their associated complexities.”
