Skyward Group, a specialty property and casualty (P&C) insurance company, has announced the nomination of Peter Hearn as a new independent director to its board of directors.
Hearn will join the Board of Directors on August 1, 2026, and will be the sixth independent director to join the Board in the past three years.
He succeeds Jim Hays, who will retire from the board later this year after nearly two decades of dedication.
Most recently, Hearn served as CEO of Guy Carpenter, a Marsh reinsurance broker. His distinguished career also includes more than two decades with Willis Re, where he held several executive positions, including global CEO from 2005 to 2011 and global chairman from 2011 to 2015.

Hayes has played a fundamental role in Skyward Group’s growth and long-term success. During his tenure, he successfully led the company through multiple phases.
