Odyssey Reinsurance Company (OdysseyRe), the property and casualty reinsurance division of Odyssey Group Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, has appointed Tegwen Gromellon and Anne-Claire Serres as co-chief underwriting officers (CUO) for its Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) division, effective July 1, 2026.
The pair succeed long-time CUO Gaël Le Païh, who will retire later this year after 36 years at the reinsurer.
Serres joined OdysseyRe in 2018 as France Marketing Director and is based in Paris. In his new role, he will lead the division’s operations in France, Africa and the Middle East.
Gromellon joined OdysseyRe in 2004 and has been Marketing Director for Germany, Austria, Benelux and Switzerland since 2019.
In his new role, he will lead the rest of Europe, including relations with the reinsurer’s representative offices in Stockholm for the Nordic markets and Türkiye.
