US insurance company Chubb has announced the appointment of Diego Novoa as President of Chubb Panama and Central America, succeeding Xavier Pazmiño, who will serve as Executive Vice President Maritime COG.
Novoa brings more than 19 years of experience in financial services to the new position. During his more than 14 years at Chubb, the executive demonstrated exceptional strategic leadership and business acumen.
The insurer noted that in his most recent role as Vice President of M&A for Latin America, his ability to drive key initiatives was critical to the growth and development of Chubb’s business in the region.
Novoa originally joined Chubb in 2011 and has since held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Chubb, he worked for HSBC Peru for three years.
“We are confident that in this new phase, Diego will continue to lead the Panama team to achieve new goals. We wish him every success in this important professional endeavor,” a Chubb spokesman said.
