McLarens bolsters Middle East leadership with two senior appointments

Global claims services provider McLaren is appointing two senior officials in Dubai to strengthen its leadership position in the Middle East.

Mahesh Ganesan has been appointed Director of Middle East Operations to oversee regional operations with a focus on improving efficiency and delivering consistent, high-quality service to customers in the region.

He has been with McLaren since 2009, when he joined the company as a trainee in the UK and has since held technical, operational and leadership roles within the organization.

In 2014, the executive moved to Dubai and has since played a central role in growing the Middle East business.

McLaren has also appointed Ollie Waterman as director of commercial development for the Middle East.

Waterman was previously the Middle East property director for an international loss adjuster firm and has extensive experience managing significant losses in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

His new responsibilities include leading commercial development, customer engagement and market expansion.

Steven Wallace, Managing Director EMEA, commented: “The Middle East is an important region for McLaren and these appointments demonstrate our commitment to investing in the right leadership to support our customers and grow sustainably.”

He added: “Mahesh’s business experience (from trainee to operations director) and extensive operational expertise make him the ideal person to lead our Middle East business. Ollie brings strong commercial insight and real technical credibility across the region. Together they will be at the heart of the continued growth of our Middle East business and ensure we deliver the quality of service our customers have come to expect.”
