Global brokerage Brokerslink has announced board changes involving representatives of shareholder The Ardonagh Group.
Ardonagh Group has appointed James Kalbassi as its new representative to the Brokerslink board.
Kalbassi has over thirty years of experience in the insurance broking industry and currently serves as Executive Chairman of Price Forbes, part of the Ardonagh Group.
The executive was co-founder and co-chief executive of Paragon International Insurance Brokers before the Ardonagh Group merger in 2024, and later served as executive director of PSC Insurance.
In addition to his management roles, Kalbasi is an experienced professional liability broker. He has been instrumental in developing innovative insurance and risk management projects in global markets, particularly in the areas of law firms and design firms.
Earlier in his career, he served as Division Director at Willis Faber & Dumas PLC in London.
Commenting on his appointment, Kalbassi said: “I am delighted to join the Brokerslink board and represent the Ardonagh Group within such a highly regarded global brokerage.
“Brokerslink has built a strong international network of independent brokers and I look forward to contributing to the work of the Board as the company continues to expand its global capabilities and create value for its partners and clients.”
Antony Erotocritou will resign from the Brokerslink board, ending his term as representative of Ardonagh Group.
Since joining the Board of Directors in 2023, Erotocritou has played an important role in supporting the company’s strategic direction and strengthening collaboration across Brokerslink’s global network.
