International General Insurance Holdings Inc. (IGI), a specialty commercial insurer and reinsurer, has appointed Thomas A. Collett to its Board of Directors and to its Compensation Committee, effective March 19, 2026.
In addition, David D. Anthony, who has served as a director of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee since March 2020, announced his retirement.
IGI Executive Chairman Wasef Jabsheh commented: “David’s insights and experience, particularly his many years as a senior insurance ratings analyst, have proven to be an important contribution to IGI’s strategic development. We wish David all the best in his retirement.”
Collett is an industry veteran with a successful record of building businesses, developing teams and extensive relationships in the U.S. reinsurance market.
He previously served as Managing Director (MD) of Guy Carpenter in Dallas, Texas, and held leadership positions at Willis Re, Benfield, General Re and Munich American Re.
Collett currently serves on the board of directors of Griffin Highline’s Dallas Specialty Insurance Company, as well as on other advisory and educational committees.
Jabsheh added: “We are pleased to welcome Tom to our Board of Directors. Meanwhile, Anthony served as a board member of IGI Holdings Dubai Limited from 2018 to March 2020, and as a director of IGI’s Bermuda subsidiary International General Insurance Company Ltd from January 2020 to December 2025.
Finally, Andrew J. Poole, who has been a director of IGI and a member of its Compensation Committee since March 2020, has been appointed Chairman of the Compensation Committee and has joined the Board’s Audit and Risk Committee.
