HDI Global, a Germany-based corporate and specialty insurance company part of the Talanx Group, has appointed Philip Beblo as Head of Property Underwriting, effective May 1, 2026.
He will assume global responsibility for the company’s property local risk business and will be responsible for further developing the portfolio and supporting its international expansion.
Beblo has extensive experience holding senior positions in international insurance organizations. Prior to joining HDI Global, he served as associate international property manager at Everest Insurance and global business group leader for AGCS SE.
In these roles, he was involved in the growth and management of international real estate portfolios and the development of underwriting capabilities across geographies.
In his new role, Beblo will oversee the global property local risk group and work alongside Mark Mackay, global head of energy and power, and Franz Adamczyk, global head of property risk and advisor to the energy and power business. His responsibilities include advancing the international real estate portfolio, focusing on underwriting standards, governance and consistency across markets.
