Commercial and specialty lines insurer HDI Global has announced the appointment of David Wilson to the newly created role of Global Claims Head of Energy & Power, effective March 1, 2026.
Based in London, Wilson will work globally within HDI’s Energy & Power division. He will report to Roman Felten, Global Head of Claims.
In his new role, he will support claims activity across all centers globally and across the wider energy and power portfolio, helping to further connect global expertise with local execution.
Wilson joins HDI Global from Allianz for more than a decade, most recently as global head of energy claims.
This appointment follows HDI’s recent appointment of Mark Mackay to succeed Franz Adamczyk as global head of energy and power.
HDI Global’s Energy & Power division brings together cross-sector expertise to enable streamlined and centralized processes to serve the entire energy and power value chain through a single division. The new global claims leadership role further strengthens this comprehensive approach.
