Great American Insurance Group’s environmental division announces a partnership with Great American’s División Daños México unit.
The partnership marks a significant expansion of the group’s specialized environmental capabilities, bringing specialized pollution liability insurance to the Mexican market.
The partnership aims to provide Mexican businesses with strong protection against the complex financial risks associated with pollution incidents.
By leveraging the technical expertise of the U.S. environmental sector and the local market knowledge of the Mexican sector, the group aims to fill critical gaps in the region’s specialty insurance market.
División Daños México will offer site environmental liability insurance starting from December 1, 2025. This product is designed to protect insureds against liability arising from contamination conditions at owned or leased locations.
In addition, the department will provide environmental liability insurance for contracting services in 2026. The product will address specific risks faced by contractors and service providers during their operations.
