Global reinsurance brokerage Gallagher Re has appointed Fabrice Jerlin as its new chairman of the Middle East and Africa region.
Jerlin brings more than thirty years of reinsurance industry experience to this position. He spent most of his career at Swiss Re before joining Gallagher Re.
Most recently, he served as Swiss Re’s GCC Property & Liability Area Manager, responsible for underwriting property, engineering, casualty and maritime treaties, as well as client management functions in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen.
Earlier in his career, Jerlin worked at Gen Re and SCOR.
