Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather (Floyd Mayweather) will release his NFT before the upcoming match against Youtuber Logan Paul. The exclusive series celebrates Mayweather’s traditions in life and sports with unique objects. Floyd has remained undefeated throughout his career after winning major championships in multiple weight classes.

The NFT series will exhibit rare Mayweather memorabilia

NFT will represent a digital collection of works of art, animation and rare memorabilia, which will be provided to boxing fans and non-fungible token (NFT) collectors around the world. The exclusive work will be released later this month, before Mayweather’s exhibition match with the famous YouTuber and current boxer Logan Paul. It will be released in early June. . Speaking of the initiative, the boxing icon said:

I started from scratch and tried my best to realize my career. I think that was an American dream… These digital collections give everyone the opportunity to be part of Mayweather’s legacy.

The items in the NFT collection will be protected using blockchain technology. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) provide a reliable way to prove the ownership of various digital artifacts (such as images and videos) using distributed ledgers. They are becoming more and more popular, and now Mayweather Jr. joins an ever-expanding club of artists, athletes and other celebrities who issue NFTs. Logan Paul launched his token in February and reportedly made millions of dollars in their transactions.

3 crypto companies will promote Floyd’s NFT release

The works in the unique collection are designed by Reality Gaming Group, the publisher of blockchain-based digital entertainment, which works with Ironbend, a turnkey digital NFT solution provider, and NFT production company Zytara Labs.

The NFT broadcast is scheduled for May 26, earlier than Mayweather’s fight with Paul on June 6. Floyd “Money” Mayweather will quit his retirement with 50 victories in his career to face young Youtube influencers who have 20 million subscribers, but he only lost to the United Kingdom A professional boxing match between Youtuber and rapper KSI.

“With the anticipation of the event, this decline in NFT will provide NFT collectors and die-hard Floyd Mayweather enthusiasts from all over the world with rare must-have digital collectibles,” a press release details. Morten Rongaard, CEO of Reality Gaming, said: “The officially licensed content will be of the highest quality, and fans will know that they will have the unique legacy of Floyd Mayweather and can safely start collecting Limited edition product.”

Mayweather’s NFT efforts are not his first foray into the cryptocurrency world. Four years ago, boxing idols started to promote token sales in the initial coin offering (ICO). Then at the end of 2018, the US Securities and Exchange Commission fined the boxer for his involvement in illegal ICO promotions, and he agreed to pay more than $600,000 to resolve these allegations. The SEC found that Mayweather failed to disclose the promotional payments he received from three ICO issuers.
