As part of the partnership, Adani Logistics will build a 534,000-square-foot distribution center in the upcoming Mumbai logistics hub, which will be leased to Flipkart to address the growing demand for e-commerce in Western India And support the sellers and MSMEs entering the region in thousands of markets.

With the most advanced technology, the center is expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2022 and will have the capacity to hold 10 million units of seller inventory at any time. In addition to strengthening Flipkart’s supply chain infrastructure to support MSME and sellers, the facility will also increase local employment opportunities and create 2500 direct jobs and thousands of indirect jobs.
