Game publisher NCore Games announced in a tweet that FAU-G, which is listed as an alternative to PUBG in India, will be released in November. The Bangalore-based publisher announced FAU-G early last month after the country banned PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite. FAU-G, also known as “Fearless” and “Joint Guard”, aims to capitalize on the country’s patriotism and anti-China sentiment. The first level of the game will be based on the skirmish in the Galvan Valley between India and China.

Without providing any platform-specific details and a specific release date, NCore Games Tweet FAU-G will be launched in November. The game was originally scheduled to debut later this month.

NCore Games’ tweets also included the first trailer released by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Sunday. The one-minute trailer gave us a glimpse of the first level of FAU-G and emphasized the combat mechanism the character uses to fight the enemy.

A few days after the government banned PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite in the country, FAU-G was announced. NCore Games co-founder Vishal Gondal said the game has been planned for several months. It plans to reach 200 million users within a year.

Since the announcement last month, both Kumar and Gondal have promoted FAU-G on their social media accounts. However, we have not yet seen whether the game can really win a large number of followers in the country, especially among professional gamers and enthusiasts who have played PUBG Mobile before.

NCore Games also pledged to donate 20% of the net income earned by FAU-G to the government’s fundraising program Bharat Ke Veer.
