Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer Everest Group has appointed Katy Bradica as its new group chief actuary and Attila Kerényi as group chief risk officer, both effective early January 2026.
The pair join the company’s executive leadership team, with Everest stating that the appointments enhance the company’s leadership and reinforce its commitment to underwriting excellence and prudent risk management.
In her new role, Bradika will lead the group’s global actuarial function, overseeing pricing, provisioning and analytics across all businesses. She reports to Jim Williamson, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Additionally, she will guide the re/insurer’s actuarial strategy to improve technical rigor, capital efficiency and data-driven decision-making to support profitable growth.
Kerényi oversees Everest’s global enterprise risk management function, driving the company’s risk strategy, governance and capital resiliency. He will report to the Group Chief Financial Officer.
Bradica is a 25-year actuarial veteran with deep global expertise in the commercial and reinsurance markets. Most recently, she served as AXA Group Chief Pricing Actuary and Head of Portfolio Management, increasing analytical capabilities and technical pricing sophistication while delivering an enterprise-wide portfolio management framework across multiple global markets.
Previously, she held senior actuarial leadership roles at AXA XL and AIG, including chief pricing actuary for the company’s global re/insurance division. At AXA XL, Bradica directs pricing strategy and leads large-scale transformation initiatives.
Kerényi is a global financial services leader with more than 25 years of experience in risk management, underwriting, asset management and corporate strategy. Most recently, he served as Chief Risk Officer for Swiss Re’s Property & Casualty Reinsurance business.
Previously, Kerényi served as Chief Risk Officer for Asset Management and Alternative Capital Partners, where he was responsible for group-wide oversight of credit risk, market risk and valuation risk, and served on the boards of several regulated re/insurers and insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment entities.
