Cyber risk company Resilience has announced the appointment of Erik Wrobel as chief product officer, responsible for product management, user experience design and engineering.
Wrobel has a strong background in product and technology leadership and a proven track record of guiding high-growth software companies through periods of transformation and scaling.
“Throughout my career, I have focused on building platforms that transform complex data into clear, actionable business value. Resilience is uniquely positioned to address the fragmented nature of cyber risk by bridging the gap between security technology and financial risk,” commented Wrobel.
“I’m incredibly excited about the opportunity to expand on this vision and provide leaders with the holistic tools they need to navigate an increasingly connected and dangerous digital world.”
The executive joins Resilience from Blend, a SaaS company that provides a cloud banking platform to banks and credit unions, where he most recently served as head of product.
During his five-year tenure, he saw Blend grow from a single product business to a comprehensive platform provider of digital banking solutions and ultimately a successful IPO, guiding multiple product features and delivering a successful IPO.
Prior to joining Blend, Wrobel served as chief product officer at Evernote, a provider of personal and team productivity solutions. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Products at VMware.
“We are excited to welcome Erik to the Resilience team as we develop third-party risk management software solutions that help enterprises manage their vendor ecosystems,” said Vishaal “V8” Hariprasad, co-founder and CEO of Resilience. “Erik has been the driving force behind some of the most innovative technology solutions, from virtualization to digital transformation of banks.”
“His deep expertise in product innovation and his leadership in scaling technology companies will be invaluable as we continue to shape how enterprise-level companies make security decisions and improve their resilience to losses,” he added.
