EDME Insurance Brokers, one of India’s largest insurance and reinsurance brokerages, has appointed Vinod Krishnan as global chief executive officer (CEO) of Treaty Reinsurance.
In his new role, Krishnan will lead and expand the broker’s global treaty platform in Mumbai.
Krishnan has 36 years of industry experience, 18 of which were with Aon Benfield, where he served as CEO, Vice President, Head of Analytics and Head of Business Projects for Aon Re Asia.
Most recently, he served as Head of Reinsurance and Director of Client Relationship Management at Gallagher Re.
His other experience includes serving as Executive Director of JB Boda & Co (S) Pte Ltd., Deputy CEO of Guy Carpenter Southeast Asia and Korea and CEO of JLT Group Asia Reinsurance.
Krishnan began his career in the insurance industry in 1992 with Mittare Insurance as Head of Underwriting and Reinsurance.
