Dubai National Insurance & Reinsurance PSC (DNIR), a publicly held company operating in the United Arab Emirates, has announced the resignation of AR Srinivasan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Srinivasan, who held the position since August 2023, left the company due to personal reasons.
“The company expresses its sincere gratitude to Srinivasan for his valuable contributions during his tenure and wishes him all the best in his future career,” DNIR said.
The board has appointed head of risk management Charbel Yazbeck as acting CEO, subject to approval by the UAE Central Bank.
Yazbeck has been with DNIR for more than 11 years and has served as Head of Risk Management since July 2023. Prior to this, he served as Head of Risk and Compliance for AML/CFT.
“Charbel has the professional experience and management capabilities required to lead the company during this transitional period,” DNIR said.
