Insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has appointed Daniel England as head of casualty treaties for Reinsurance Solutions Asia Pacific (APAC).
In his new role, England will drive collaboration across the broker’s casualty business in Asia Pacific to help clients make better decisions to manage volatility, protect downside risk and diversify their portfolios.
Aon explained that the move expands England’s remit as he continues to serve as Japan’s casualty and cyber treaty chief.
He relocated to Tokyo in 2020 to lead the build-out of Aon’s Japan casualty and cyber treaty teams to meet client needs.
While taking on wider regional responsibilities, England will continue to be based in Japan and focus on supporting the broker’s Japanese clients.
Aon commented on the appointment: “This additional responsibility reflects Daniel’s deep expertise, strong leadership and consistent client-centric approach.”
