Chubb names Seshadri Iyer to lead Global Operations, Technology & Digital Transformation

Chubb, a major U.S. insurance company, announced the appointment of Seshadri Iyer as Chubb Group Executive Vice President of Operations, Technology and Digital Transformation, effective April 6, 2026.

Iyer succeeds Julie Dillman, who will retire on April 2 after nearly a decade with the company, including serving in her current role since January 2022.

In this role, Iyer will have executive oversight of Chubb’s global operations and technology and will work closely with Chief Digital Business Officer Sean Ringsted to continue driving the company’s transformation into a digitally integrated organization across global underwriting, sales and service operations.

He will report to Evan G. Greenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chubb Limited and Chubb Group, and John Keogh, President and Chief Operating Officer of Chubb Group.

Iyer joins Chubb after nearly 20 years at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked with clients across a variety of industries, including the financial services industry in North America, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he served as North America Chairman of BCG X, the company’s technology design and build division. He also leads BCG’s lean services, technology operations, IT and cloud efforts in the Americas.

Gordon Mackechnie, global head of technology; Mike Jones, global operating officer and head of North American operations and technology; and global transformation officer Jamie Trish will report to Iyer. Meanwhile, global data officer Rakshit Kapoor will report to Iyer and Ringsted.

“On behalf of all Chubb employees and myself personally, I would like to thank Julie for her leadership during her outstanding tenure,” said Greenberg. “Julie has been instrumental in building and leading our technology and operations organizations. She has brought professionalism, drive and discipline to our technology transformation efforts, providing a strong foundation for our future growth. I am deeply grateful for her contributions and wish her well in her retirement.”

Greenberg added: “Sesh is an accomplished executive with deep experience creating large-scale technology change and leveraging data and technology to drive competitive advantage. I have every confidence in leading our global operations and technology organizations.”
