Chubb, a major US insurance company, announced the appointment of Cherry Gau as head of key accounts and global brokerage in Singapore, effective January 19, 2026.
Gao has nearly 20 years of regional and multinational experience spanning underwriting, broker engagement and complex risk solutions.
She joins Chubb from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance for nearly a decade, most recently as vice president of client and broker engagement.
Prior to this, Mr. Gao served as Assistant Vice President of AIG’s Casualty Division in Hong Kong. She started her career at Aon Hong Kong Limited as a risk analyst and risk consultant.
“Her deep expertise and strategic leadership will further enhance our ability to deliver customized solutions and exceptional service to our prime account clients and broker partners,” Chubb said in a recent LinkedIn post.
