On Tuesday, the fast food chain Burger King announced that the company has launched a non-fungible token (NFT) campaign called the “Keep It Real Meals” program. In cooperation with NFT Market Sweet, the event will invite celebrities such as Nelly, Anitta and LILHUDDY to participate.
NFT Market Sweet revealed a partnership with fast food giant Burger King on Tuesday. Burger King has joined the NFT competition, and the new event is very different from other NFT concepts. Burger King’s “Keep It Real Meals” program will display QR codes linked to nearly 6 million meal boxes. Scanning the QR code will unlock a digital collectible, and Burger King’s announcement stated that “collecting them will unlock the reward NFT.”
The event will invite three celebrities to participate, including American social media celebrity LILHUDDY, Brazilian singer Anitta and American rapper, singer-songwriter and entrepreneur Nelly. Some unlockable rewards have interesting utilities, such as being able to talk to one of the campaign celebrities.
The announcement explained: “Guests can choose from three Keep It Real Meal boxes curated by Nelly, Anitta and LILHUDDY, which are available for sale at participating Burger King restaurants in the United States, while stock lasts.” “When guests scan the artist’s Real Meal box When QR code, they will get one of three variants of one of the three NFT game collections. When the guests collect the same variant of each collectible NFT game work, they complete the artist settings.” The announcement further added:
After the completion of the set, guests will receive a fourth reward-based NFT. The rewards range from 3D BK digital collectibles, one-year Whopper sandwiches, autographed stolen goods, and even a phone call with one of the artists.
Burger King is one of many well-known brands that have conducted in-depth research on the non-fungible token (NFT) industry and cryptocurrency products. Brands such as Oscar Mayer, Snickers, Galaxy, Axe Body Spray, Arizona Iced Tea have dabbled in blockchain conversations and tried different ideas.
