Brokerslink enters Latvia

Global brokerage firm Brokerslink has expanded its international reach by appointing Riga-based retail broker Perks as its subsidiary in Latvia.

The acquisition marks Brokerslink’s entry into a new country and strengthens its presence in the Baltic region.

Founded in 2012, Perks is an independent insurance broker specializing in corporate and SME risks, including property, business interruption and general and professional liability.

It serves a wide range of industries, including forestry, agriculture, real estate, transport and logistics, food production, and trading and wholesale.

Perks is led by founder Guntis Zoldners, who brings international corporate risk experience gained from four years of serving Wtw clients in the Baltics.

Guntis Zoldners, founder of Perks, commented: “Joining Brokerslink is an important milestone in the development of Perks and the independent brokerage business in Latvia.

“We are proud to add Latvia to the Brokerslink network and provide our clients with international expertise and connections, whilst maintaining our strong local focus and consultative approach. We look forward to building long-term relationships with our partners and affiliates across the global network.”

Carla Alves, Marketing and Operations Director at Brokerslink, added: “The expansion into Latvia is another step in Brokerslink’s continued growth in the Baltic region.

“Perks brings a strong reputation in the local market, a clear consulting philosophy and valuable international experience. We are delighted to welcome Guntis and his team to the network and expand our reach into this new area.”
