BOXX Insurance, part of Global Business & Operations in Zurich, has announced two key executive appointments to drive U.S. expansion and international growth.
Neal Jardine has been named chief operating officer (COO) and president of BOXX Canada, and Elizabeth Kim has been named the new president of BOXX America.
Since 2022, Jardine has been focused on growing the company’s cyber intelligence and claims division. In his new role, he will be responsible for global operations and the Canadian market, marking an important stage in the company’s growth.
His proficiency in translating technology risks into consumer-focused strategies is expected to be critical as BOXX brings its integrated operating model into the broader regional and global arena.
“As cyber risks become more dynamic, the value of cyber insurance has permanently shifted from pure capabilities to helping customers stay ahead of threats and the speed and quality of response when a crisis strikes,” said Vishal Kundi, CEO and Co-Founder of BOXX Insurance.
Kundi continued: “Our global risk intelligence and claims leadership is also under Neal’s guidance, ensuring that the insights we glean from real-world incidents are immediately fed back into our day-to-day operations and, most importantly, that our customers receive faster, more seamless support when they need it most.”
Kim’s appointment as President of BOXX USA comes as the company continues its successful expansion in the United States.
A qualified solicitor, the executive joins BOXX after holding senior leadership roles at Hiscox and Gallagher Re.
In her new role, Kim will be tasked with leading growth in the U.S. market, expanding strategic distribution partnerships and implementing BOXX’s innovative embedded networking solutions for an expanding U.S. customer base.
Kundi continued: “The U.S. market represents a huge growth engine for BOXX and our products are gaining incredible traction. Liz Kim is a proven leader with a distinguished cyber insurance pedigree.
“She brings deep product understanding and knowledge of the complex U.S. insurance landscape at a time when businesses and consumers are demanding smarter, more proactive cyber protection. With such a strong team and the addition of Liz, we are extremely well-positioned to accelerate our upward trajectory in the U.S.”
