A regional report from an expo in Chengdu indicated that Bitmain launched a new scrypt ASIC device for Dogecoin, Litecoin, digibyte and edge mining. According to people familiar with the matter, Bitmain’s new model has a computing power of approximately 9,500 megahash per second (MH/s), and overseas prices have been reduced by 13%.

According to Chinese reporter Colin’Wu’ Blockchain, Bitmain has released a new scrypt coin mining device with a much higher hash rate than the company’s previous model. On Saturday, after showing the specifications at the Bitmain Expo in Chengdu, Wu posted the news on Twitter.

“On June 19th, Bitmain released a new Litecoin/Dogecoin mining machine L7,” a Chinese reporter Tweet“The computing power is 9500MH/s, 3425W, equivalent to 19 sets of L3+, the price is 15,000 US dollars, [the] The price of overseas purchases was reduced by 13%. The delivery time is November 2021,” he added.

In addition, Wu also stated that Bitmain has already shown its “preview of the 5nm-based Bitcoin water-cooled mining machine and Dash mining machine D7”.

The news from Bitmain came after the company launched the Antminer E9 Ethereum mining equipment at the end of April. The device has not yet been released, and the price of the E9 has not yet been announced.

“[The] Antminer E9 Ethereum miner. Equivalent to 32 – 3080 graphics cards, equipped with 3 GH/s computing power,” Bitmain explained at the time. Bitmain’s new scrypt miner followed the Antminer L3+ released in October 2017, and its output was about 600 MH/s. s.

Currently, Innosilicon brand A6+ Ltcmaster is the most profitable scrypt miner on the market today, with a speed of 2,200 MH/s. Using today’s exchange rate and $0.12 per kWh, a single A6+ Ltcmaster will provide the owner with a profit of $26 per day.

Using the same electricity bill and the encryption price of today’s most profitable scrypt coin, Bitmain L3+ can make about $6.35 in profits per day.

If the specifications disclosed by the Chinese reporter Colin’Wu’ Blockchain and the screenshots shared by Wu are correct, the new Bitmain scrypt miner will be the most powerful on the market once it is released to the public.

From a certain perspective, the upcoming Bitmain scrypt ASIC machine will be more than four times more powerful than Innosilicon’s A6+ Ltcmaster. 9,500 megahash per second is equivalent to 9.5 megahash per second (GH/s), while the Innosilicon machine captures 2.2 GH/s.
