Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has announced the promotion of Jessica Kirby to UK country manager, replacing Nick Major who is retiring from the company and the London market.
Kirby will be based in London and brings nearly two decades of experience focusing on the UK and London markets and deep financial expertise.
She has been with BHSI since 2018 as a senior commercial D&O underwriter. She was later appointed UK Head of Commercial Management Responsibility and then UK Head of Executive and Professional Business, her most recent role.
Chris Nixon, who has more than 12 years of industry experience, will succeed Kirby as head of UK executive and professional divisions.
Nixon joined BHSI in 2019 and most recently served as underwriting manager for E&P Lines.
